Camping & Tour de Cure - June 12th and 13th (Kennebunk)

Maine AmeriCorps Alums is volunteering with the American Diabetes Association to help with the Tour de Cure bike race in Kennebunk on June 13th.  We'll head to Kennebunk on Saturday night to camp out before an early morning prepping food for race participants.  Join us for camping or volunteering, or both!  Email Kate Callahan for more info.

AmeriCorps Alums AUGUSTA meeting - Tuesday, June 15th  @ 6:30pm (Hallowell)

Maine AmeriCorps Alums is extending its reach outside of Portland with a new satellite chapter in Augusta.  We'll be discussing a strategy for the satellite chapter and want your input! Join us Tuesday, June 15th at 6:30pm at The Liberal Cup in Hallowell, located at 115 Water St.  As a reminder, AmeriCorps Alums is an organization for current members as well as alumni and it is a great opportunity for socializing, networking, and continuing your commitment to service.  Hope to see you there!

TBD - Institute for Civic Leadership (ICL) Young Emerging Leaders Pilot Program

In partnership with ICL, we'll be hosting an informational meeting about their new program, geared for 22-35 year olds.  ICL's Young Emerging Leaders Pilot Program is an interactive and innovative program that prepares and launches young emerging leaders to successful nonprofit board and committee leadership roles in Maine.  Look for information about the meeting soon, or contact Samantha FMI.
